Wow, we were blown away by the amazing response we received during the Unique Painting Back to School Drive!†With YOUR help we were able to donate 313 notebooks to the Emmanuel Center in Kansas City, MO. I first learned about the Emmanuel Center when listening to 103.3 last month. The deejays were supporting a drive that the Emmanuel Center was holding to fill backpacks to prepare their students for the upcoming school year.
I was thrilled to hear of this because we had been looking for a school to partner with for our Back to School Drive. I contacted them immediately and loved learning more about the center and all that they provide for families in the Kansas City area. The stars aligned and we were able to add to their efforts make a huge impact in their drive. We can’t thank you enough for all your support in making these two collaborating drives a success. It’s all due to the support of our incredible fans on Facebook.
The more you give, the more you receive and this experience has definitely given us a lot. We’ll continue partnering with them and will keep you up to date on our future plans. If you have ideas of other ways we can give back to our community; we’d love to hear from you.
